Our approach to consulting is simple, effective, and efficient.
For the past decade, Hatchuel Tabernik & Associates (HTA) has helped educational,
social service, corrections, mental health, youth development, health, and early childhood
development agencies develop their capacity and effectively serve their communities.
We establish strong working relationships with each client to understand their unique
needs, goals, challenges, opportunities and strengths. Based on our mutual assessment, HTA proposes a scope of work, the deliverables, and the consulting fee. Each project has a lead consultant and a team behind him/her.
“A consulting assignment can be simple and straightforward, or it can be complex—involving many stakeholders, agendas and goals. Whatever the nature of the project, our extensive expertise allows us to balance flexibility with focus to achieve the most positive outcomes possible.”
Dina Hatchuel, CEO
We Build Capacity and Empower Our Clients
We believe in “teaching our clients to fish” by providing them with data systems and ways to use data to inform their practice, helping them to develop skills and infrastructure, and helping them to build the voluntary and professional leadership that will see them successfully into the future. We always seek to leave behind valuable tools, structures, skills, and knowledge that are embedded in the fabric of the client organization. This capacity may take the form of:
- Skill building for staff
- Grant templates and lists of viable prospects for future applications
- Research strategies that can be implemented independently by the client over time
- Strategic plans that are actionable and owned by the organization
- Databases for ongoing data collection or fund development
“HTA delivers more to our clients than simply a grant, an evaluation report, or a strategic plan. We make a difference in the functioning of the organizations with which we work. We add value to their work and empower them to be more effective in delivering vital services to their particular community.”
Tim Tabernik, President
Our Staff are Experienced
The HTA staff is comprised of educators, social workers, public policy experts, database developers, researchers, and other professionals who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our clients. This capacity is used to leaven the client organization—teaching, coaching, supporting, and challenging our clients to create, improve and sustain vital community services.
“HTA personnel were professional, collaborative, creative, and supportive in all aspects of our working relationships.”
